This conversation has never happened in my house because I NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY! I have been reunited with all manner of obscure hieroglyphics during my New Years- "let's clean out my office closet" journey, and you know what- it all still brings me immense joy. So cupid off back to your corner Marie Kondo, you can't beat an illegible message of love written in smudged glitter pen to bring a great big smile to my face. Now my nest is empty I welcome those warm fuzzies and feel restored by the inevitable flood of delightful memories. Heaven knows I need help with remembering anything these days, so all those crumpled cards will be spared the recyclng bin for a few more years.
